ACAR PLAYER GUIDE · NOVEMBER 4, 2026

An Atlantic City casino visit on your budget.

Choose where to play before you leave home. A little planning can keep table limits, video poker stakes and the rest of your visit within your entertainment budget.

Start with the minimum you’re comfortable with.

ACAR’s main-floor blackjack and craps guide starts at $15 typical and $25 during weekends or busy periods across the nine properties. Those are editorial starting values, not a promise that a particular table will be open at that price. High-limit rooms have different conditions.

Check the blackjack guide or craps listings, then look for dated observations that match the time you plan to visit. An older weekday report is useful context, but it does not establish a Saturday-night minimum.

Keep a second choice.

Pick two properties you would enjoy visiting. If the first has higher limits than you planned for, keep your original budget and consider the second. You can also choose another activity or leave play for another visit. A higher table minimum is not a reason to increase what you intended to spend.

For video poker, choose your denomination first.

Open the 25¢ video poker search, or select the denomination you prefer. Then compare the exact game and paytable. The displayed percentage assumes optimal play and that paytable’s qualifying wager; it is not a prediction of what your session will return.

A coin denomination is not the full cost of a deal. Check the credits, number of hands and any feature wager on the machine before pressing Deal. Ultimate X and Super Times Pay can require extra wagers; their feature-inclusive returns are kept separate from base-game percentages.

Check the details before sitting down.

Read the table’s posted minimum and maximum. For blackjack, check its blackjack payout and rules. For craps, identify traditional or Crapless. For video poker, compare the displayed paytable and denomination with the listing. A similar-looking game can have a different configuration.

Make the whole visit fit.

Set aside your food, transport and parking money separately from the amount you are willing to lose while playing. Decide on a time to stop as well as a spending limit. Rewards and offers are extras; they should not determine how much you gamble.

Help the next player.

If you find a useful table minimum or a different paytable, share a dated report. Choose only details you personally checked. Reports are reviewed before they update the public guide.
